Ridged Baffle Filters vs. Smooth Baffle Filters
The majority of grease filters on the market are designed with baffles that remove grease particles from the air before they pass into the hood exhaust system.
What's different about the Econo Baffle filters is that each baffle has been designed and manufactured with ridges incorporated onto the baffle surface. The function of these ridges is to create turbulent airflow as the air passes along the surface of the baffles.
As the air molecules change direction (turbulent flow), they leave more grease behind on the filter itself and less is able to pass through to the hood and duct system. This distinct design element makes the Econo Baffle incredibly efficient at grease removal prior to entering the hood system.
